Rearcross National School

Rearcross National School has been awarded the Active School Flag! The school has made a number of improvements across our physical education programme, including the promotion of physical activity during the school day, updating and reviewing our physical education plan and organising an Active School Week. Well done to all involved in particular the Active School Flag committee. The flag remains valid for a period of three years after which time, the school will be invited to re-apply.

On Tuesday 3rd October twenty five boys and girls represented our school in the Tipperary Primary Schools Cross Country competition in Thurles. Great credit is due to all our competitors who took part with energy and  enthusiasm in races with over one hundred participants. Congratulations to Aaron Lenihan who was among the medal winners.
