Rearcross National School

We are developing our own wildflower garden in the school grounds with the help of our caretaker Billy and local nature expert Albert. We are hoping to attract lots of bees,butterflies and other wildlife for the benefit of the environment.

This year pupils from Junior Infants – Sixth Class attended the ‘Let’s Go School Tour’ in Delta Sports Dome Limerick. Students engaged in a series of challenging, fun and unique activities. The tour was designed to compliment our work for the Active School Flag as we continue to strive towards a physically educated and physically active school community!

Well done to Aoife, Aaron, Kieran, Aoife, Lachlann, Dylan, Shannon, Conor and Lindsey who made their First Holy Communion on Sunday 30th April.  It was a beautiful ceremony added to by the lovely choir. Míle buíochas to Ms. Daly who helped the children prepare for the Sacrament throughout the year.
