Rearcross National School

Over the next few weeks pupils in 4th, 5th and 6th class will be taking part in the IRFU ‘Play Rugby’ initiative. The programme is a fun and safe way for kids to get involved in rugby and includes tag, touch and 7s formats of the game. Click on our ‘HPS / ASF’ link above to see more pictures.

Congratulations to Colm Kennedy, Brian Hammersley, Aaron Lenihan and Brian O’ Connell who finished second at the regional finals of the schools quiz last Friday. The boys have qualified for the next stage of the competition and will compete for the national title in Dublin on Sunday 2nd April 2017. A wonderful achievement, maith sibh buachaillí!

Well done to Ellie Kennedy, Rueben Mulligan and Jayne Hurley winners of our Active School Flag slogan competition. Our Active School Flag slogan is;“Run, cycle, walk or swim, it doesn’t matter if you win”.  Well done to everyone who took part, all the entries were fantastic!
